Recently, Twice's total of 29 albums released in Korea
and Japan exceeded its cumulative shipments of 1,029,242.
From its debut mini album "THE STORY BEGINS" in
October 2015 to its third full-length album "Eyes wide open" released
in October this year, cumulative album sales in Korea recorded 5,818,380 copies
based on Gaon Chart shipments.
From Japan's best album #TWICE (Hashtag TWICE) June 2017
to their seventh single "BETTER," which recently topped the Oricon
daily singles chart, the albums released there have sold a total of 4,210,862
copies. This proved their status as one of the most popular K-pop girl groups
ever, setting a new record of 10 million albums sold in Korea and Japan.
