Hallyu star Monsta X and
Professor Seo Kyung-deok of Sungshin Women's University, who have spread Korean
around the world, joined forces to unveil the holiday greeting of the
"Easy Korean, Right Korean" video campaign on the 10th.
The seven-minute video,
produced by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Federation of
Korean Language and Culture Center, dealt with words in a quiz format that
should be taken care of when greeting family and relatives ahead of the
holiday.
Professor Seo, who organized the
video, said, "There are many words that are easy to miswrite in everyday
life, but I made the video with the intention of using such confusing
expressions properly," adding, "I wanted to spread the timely, easy,
and correct Korean expressions to netizens through the video."
MONSTA X said, "We are
glad to participate in this meaningful video production, and I want to help the
spread of easy and correct Korean language at home and abroad."
