Group BTS will participate in the online charity
performance "Music On A Mission" held during the U.S. Grammy Awards
week to help music industry workers hit by the Covid-19 Pandemic.
MusicCares, a charity organization affiliated
with The Recording Academy, which organizes the Grammy Awards, announced on its
official SNS on the 2nd (local time) that " BTS will join the lineup for
the "Music on a Mission" performance."
"Music on a Mission" is a
performance hosted by Music Care, which has been held every year as a gala show
with the selection of "Person of the Year," but this year will be
held in the form of an online concert (March 12) depending on the Pandemic
situation. Ticket sales revenue is all used to support music industry workers
hit by the Covid-19 Pandemic.
In addition to BTS, various artists including
John Legend, HAIM, Hersher, Bruce Springsteen, Jhene Aiko, Tom Petty &
Stevie Nicks and others will perform at the "Music on a Mission"
concert.
