BTS performed with the digital single
"Dynamite," released in August last year at the 63rd Grammy Awards
held at 9 a.m. on the 15th (Korea time). He was the first Korean pop singer to
be nominated for the Grammy Awards, followed by a solo stage, creating a
"symbolic moment. BTS won the "2021 Grammy Awards" alongside
global musicians such as Cardi B, DaBaby, Harry Styles, Doja Cat, Dua Lipa, and
Taylor Swift.
BTS, who started a special performance in front
of the huge Gramophone (the first disc phonograph), the symbol of the Grammy
Awards, completed a performance linking Seoul to the Grammy Awards photo wall
in the trumpet hall of Gramophone and the Grammy Awards in the U.S.
BTS, who participated in the Grammy Awards for
the third consecutive year, was previously on stage as a presenter at the 61st
awards ceremony in 2019, and at the 62nd awards ceremony last year, he
performed jointly with rapper Lil Nas X. This year, he emerged as a "21st
Century Pop Hero" who settled in the global music liquor market as a
candidate for the award and a solo performance performer.
