ENHYPEN
(Enhypen), a fourth-generation hot icon, successfully made its debut as a radio
DJ.
The
Japanese radio program "All Night Japan X (Cross)" hosted by ENHYPEN
first aired at noon on the 29th (at 0 p.m. on the 30th). ENHYPEN said,
"It's my first time doing a radio in Japanese, so I'm a little
nervous." He then explained the team name ENHYPEN, "The name is
derived from the attachment symbol 'Hyphen', which means that seven different
members are connected to find each other and grow together," and added,
"The radio progress is like a new connection."
ENHYPEN,
which has a question and answer time to find out the members' tastes and
interests as it is the first broadcast, had a pleasant talk by solving the
gifts prepared by the production team in connection with the members' names.
The seven members said, "Time went by so fast. I wonder if the listeners enjoyed
listening to the show," he said, "I hope it will be a warm
relationship that can cross with you like the title of the program, and share
both fun and sad things."
Shortly
after the end of the broadcast, ENHYPEN and radio-related keywords confirmed
the big topic, including Yahoo! JAPAN's real-time search ranking and the
world's top Twitter real-time trend.
Meanwhile,
'Global Fan-Made Group' ENHYPEN released its debut album 'BORDER: DAY ONE' in
November last year amid the attention of K-pop fans around the world. The album
was successful on Billboard in the U.S. and Oricon charts in Japan, and ENHYPEN
grew into a group with strong fandom to hold fan meetings in about two months
after its debut.
Thanks
to its popularity, it was chosen Monday as the host of All Night Japan X
(Cross), a new program on the late-night radio "All Night Japan,"
which boasts more than half a century of history in Japan. On the 27th, he
participated in the online K-culture festival "KCON: TACT 3" and sang
a total of four songs, including the title song "Given-Taken" of
"BORDER: DAY ONE", the track "10 Months", "Let Me In
(20 CUBE), and Block B's cover of "Very Good". ENHYPEN is currently
preparing to release its new album at the end of next month.
