The group ENHYPEN has set another meaningful record with their Japanese debut single.

According to Universal Music Japan on July 13, ENHYPEN (JUNGWON, HEESEUNG, JAY, JAKE, SUNGHOON, SUNWOO, and NIKI) ranked second place in the history of the singles with the highest sales in the first week, among foreign male artists. Their Japanese debut single " BORDER: 儚い" (Border: Hakanai), released on July 6 recorded a sales volume of 200,000 copies. The all-time number one spot belongs to Seventeen of the Hybe Labels, who set a record for "Happy Ending," released in May 2019.

"BORDER: 儚い" (Border: Hakanai) ranked first on the Oricon Daily Chart in Japan for seven consecutive days immediately after its release and also topped the weekly singles chart on July 19, (July 5-July 11). ENHYPEN's current popularity and future growth are drawing keen attention as ENHYPEN is the first artist to reach the top of the weekly singles chart as soon as the first single is released.
