Shin Ji-Yoon of the girl group Weekly will temporarily suspend her team activities.

"Ji Yoon-yang has been treated by a professional medical institution due to intermittent psychological anxiety during her activities," the agency Play M Entertainment said on its official social media on August 1st. "Ji Yoon-yang, her family, specialists, and we informed Ji Yoon-yang that she needs time to recover her health."

"Ji Yoon-yang will stop her activities for a while, and Weekly will proceed with her new album activities with a six-member system," he said. He also said, "We ask for your understanding of this decision, which puts the artist's health first, and we will guide you once again regarding the resumption of Ji Yoon's activities in the future."

Lastly, the agency added, "I am very sorry to fans who will be worried about the sudden suspension of activities before the new activities, and please refrain from speculating or misunderstanding about Ji Yoon's health condition."
