The first single from CL's first full-length album
'ALPHA' has been unveiled.
The new song is titled "SPICY," and CL raised
expectations by releasing the music video teaser video.
At midnight on August 19th, the first music video teaser
video of "SPICY" was released on CL's official SNS channel, captured
CL and several dancers standing together against a huge LED with unique
patterns. The title of the single was then released as the letters
"SPICY" with impressive metallic designs were completed and
disappeared.
The intense beat, which flows in the teaser video,
foretells that "SPICY" is a hip-hop song that will capture CL's
unique charisma, such as "Bad Girlfriend" and "Hello
Bitches."
"SPICY" added something special with the
participation of great actor John Malkovich, just like the first single of
"ALPHA."
The comments "ENERGY," "POWER," and
"CHEMISTRY" in the introduction of the teaser video are also part of
the narration that John Malkovich participated in "SPICY."
John Malkovich, who had a relationship with CL through
the movie "Mile22," has continued to give advice to CL and continue
to have a good relationship as a mentor. Rumor has it that the narration for
the new song was also readily participated in CL's request.
CL's first single "SPICY," which will finally
be unveiled after a long wait, will be released on online music platforms
around the world at 6 PM on August 24th.
CL will also release its second single "ALPHA"
in September, and its full album "ALPHA" in October, starting with
"SPICY."
