"To deliver hope to the children of the world"
[The Fact | Reporter Na-Rae Lee] 'Fan N Star' delivered a donation of 1 million won to the Korean Committee for UNICEF on September 6th in the name of singer Hwang Chi-Yeol's fan club.
On September 7th, 'Fan N Star' revealed this and released a letter of thanks. In the open letter of appreciation, written: "The Hwang Chi-yeol fan club raised 1,000,000 won to deliver hope to children around the world."
Also added, "The Korean Committee for UNICEF would like to express its deepest gratitude to the donors who have been involved in making a world where all children are happy, and wish health and good luck always be with them."
Hwang Chi-yeol took first place for 30 consecutive weeks in the individual rankings of 'Fan N Star' from December 21st to July 19th last year. 'Fan N Star' provides various privileges to the fan clubs of artists who have ranked first for ten (10) consecutive weeks, 1st place for 20 consecutive weeks, and 1st place for 30 consecutive weeks.
The fan club of the artist who has won first place for 30 weeks in a row will be inducted into the Hall of Fame, at the same time, a congratulatory video will be screened on the subway billboard, Hongdae multi-vision, and Hapjeong CM board. Donations are delivered here in the name of the fan club. In addition, a trophy to celebrate 1st place for 30 consecutive weeks will be delivered to add meaning.
In response, 'Fan N Star' donated, one of the benefits of being number one in 30 weeks. Donations delivered to the UNICEF Korean Committee under the name of Chi-Yeol Hwang's fan club are used for children in Afghanistan.
At the '2020 The Fact Music Awards', Hwang Chi-yeol won the Individual Fan N Star Choice Award and the Individual Fan N Star Most Votes Award. He will be performing on the stage of the '2021 The Fact Music Awards' for the first time since his debut.
The '2021 The Fact Music Awards' will be held on-tact on October 2nd to prevent the spread of Corona 19 and for the safety of all cast, staff and fans.
