It will be used for children in Afghanistan suffering from conflict.
[The Fact | Reporter Na-Rae Lee] 'Fan N Star' delivered a donation of 1 million won to the Korean Committee for UNICEF on September 6th in the name of the group Super Junior's fan club.
On September 7th, 'Fan N Star' revealed this and released a letter of thanks. In the open letter of appreciation, "Super Junior's fan club raised 1,000,000 won to deliver hope to children around the world. The precious donation you sent will use for children in Afghanistan who are suffering from conflict."
Also added, "The Korean Committee for UNICEF would like to express its deepest gratitude to the donors who had been involved in making a world where all children are happy, and wish health and good luck always be with them."
Super Junior topped the 'Fan N Star' singer ranking for 30 consecutive weeks from January 4th to August 2nd. 'Fan N Star' provides various privileges to the fan clubs of artists who have ranked first for ten (10) consecutive weeks, 1st place for 20 consecutive weeks, and 1st place for 30 consecutive weeks.
The fan club of the artist who has won first place for thirty (30) weeks in a row will be inducted into the Hall of Fame, and at the same time, a congratulatory video will be screened on the subway billboard, Hongdae multi-vision, and Hapjeong CM board. Donations are delivered here in the name of the fan club. In addition, there will be a trophy to celebrate 1st place for 30 consecutive weeks that will be delivered to add meaning.
In response, 'Fan N Star' donated, one of the benefits of being number one in 30 weeks. Donations delivered to the UNICEF Korea Committee under the name of Super Junior's fan club will be used for children in Afghanistan.
Super Junior won the Artist of the Year, Fan N Star Choice Award, and Fan N Star Most Votes Award at the '2020 The Fact Music Awards'. They also showed off their strong potential as the 'original Hallyu stone' when they were named in the '2021 The Fact Music Awards' lineup.
The '2021 The Fact Music Awards' will be held on-tact on October 2nd to prevent the spread of Corona 19 and for the safety of all cast, staff and fans.
