BTS won three categories: The Group of 2021, The Song of 2021, and The Music Video of 2021 at the 2021 People's Choice Awards in the United States on December 7th (local time).

BTS also won four gold medals at the People's Choice Awards last year, including The Group of 2020, Song of the Year (The Album of 2020), and Music Video of the Year (The Music Video of 2020).

BTS said through Big Hit Music, "All these awards mean that many people have recognized our efforts. We’re so grateful that it is hard to express in words. ARMY was right behind us, so we were able to come this far. Thank you for loving "Butter" a lot. "We wanted to make people who are having a hard time (through this song) happy," they said in their acceptance speech.
