Singer
Younha's new album "END THEORY" has been selected as the "Best
K-pop Album" by Time magazine in the U.S.
Times magazine,
a U.S. weekly magazine, released "2021 Best K-Pop Songs and Albums of
2021" on its official website on December 8th (local time). Among them,
Younha's sixth full-length album, "END THEORY," released last month,
was named "Best K-pop Album."
Times magazine
said about Younha, "She is a singer-songwriter with a heavenly
voice," adding, "It fits very well that the title song of the new
album is Piece of Stars." "While singing a fateful encounter with the
galaxy in Pieces of the Star, her cheerful and angel-like tone reminds me of a
more magical space scene," he explained.
She
continued, "The clear common denominator of 'END THEORY' is Younha's
standout appearance. Whether the instrument is heavy electronic production
('P.R.R.W') or playing a moderate acoustic guitar ('Oort Cloud'), simple piano
chords ('Stardust') Eden, her voice is engraved with a star everywhere."
