The music video of JYP Entertainment
(referred to as JYP) rookie girl group NMIXX's debut song "O.O" has
surpassed 40 million views on YouTube.
NMIXX made their official
debut with the release of the first single 'AD MARE' and the title song 'O.O'
on February 22nd at 6 p.m. 'Girl group fame' JYP is the first female group to
be released in three years since ITZY, and while gathering high expectations
from the public as well as K-pop fans around the world, they achieved
remarkable results in the first week of their debut and are exuding a distinct
presence.
The music video for the
debut song 'O.O' depicts a different image after facing the utopia the seven
members have dreamed of, who are aware of something in the real world. The
powerful performance on a magnificent set and bouncing visual effects like a
scene from a fantasy movie drove the number of views by 3:08 a.m. it had
surpassed 40 million. In particular, as of 1 a.m. on February 23rd, seven hours
after its release, it ranked first on YouTube Trending Worldwide and recorded TOP5
for three days until the 26th, proving its global popularity.
