DKZ
(Kyoung-yoon, Se-hyeon, Mingyu, Jae-chan, Jong-hyeong, and Ki-seok) released
their sixth single, "CHASE EPISODE 2. MAUM," on various music sites
at 6 pm on April 12th.
The new
song "Cupid" proved its extraordinary firepower by entering 13th
place on Melon's latest chart (as of one week after its release) and 10th place
on Bugs' real-time charts at 7 pm, shortly after its release. "Cupid"
then ranked 11th on Melon's latest chart (as of 8 am on April 13th) and 4th on
the Bugs real-time chart (as of 8 pm on April 12th), showing a steady rise.
DKZ,
which received a lot of attention even before the release of their sixth
single. Reborn as a group that travels forward rather than reverse due to the
success of the charts. Receiving explosive responses such as "a good song
to listen to while driving," "a refreshing song is so good,"
"a beat that makes your heartbeat for Koreans," etc.
DKZ's
new song "Cupid," which is shaking K-pop with their music with their
comeback, is the first song to be performed since the team name change and the
reorganization of the six-member group. It depicts the story of six boys who
fell in love after being shot by an arrow by Cupid. You can see the refreshing
and mature performance by capturing the parallel line between DKZ's new changes
and initial intentions.
