Singer Hong Jin-young's new song "VIVA LA VIDA" entered 9th place on the US Billboard chart.

Hong Jin-young's English version of "VIVA LA VIDA," which was released on April 6th, ranked 9th on the "World Digital Song Sales" chart on the US Billboard (15th week of 2022) on April 19th, said Park Joon-il, CEO of JP Forest, in a press release on April 20th.

As a result, Hong Jin-young became the first trot singer to enter the global big three charts, including iTunes, Amazon Music, and Billboard. The new song "VIVA LA VIDA" proved that it was a song that showed K-trot's status and Korean color.

The English version of "VIVA LA VIDA" entered the top 90 on the iTunes US overall genre chart on April 8th, ranking third on the K-pop chart, and achieved second place in all genres in Saudi Arabia.
