The
debut album of "HYBE's first girl group" LE SSERAFIM proved its
explosive popularity by topping the Japanese Oricon weekly combined album
rankings.
LE
SSERAFIM's debut album "FEARLESS" (Kim Chae-won, Sakura, Heo Yun-jin,
Kazuha, Kim Garam, and Hong Eun-chae) topped the Oricon weekly album rankings
in May (counting period: May 2nd-8th). Oricon's weekly album ranking is a chart
that ranks CD sales, digital downloads, and streaming counts, and only two
foreign girl groups, including LE SSERAFIM, have topped the chart this year.
LE
SSERAFIM has topped the Oricon weekly digital album charts and digital album
download chart recently released with "FEARLESS." The album's name
and title track of the same name also ranked seventh on the streaming chart and
10th on the digital single download chart.
LE
SSERAFIM is also making remarkable results on the Japanese music charts. The
debut song "FEARLESS" rose 107 notches to 54th place a day after
entering 161st on the Japanese "Top 200" chart of Spotify, the
world's largest music streaming company, and is gaining popularity around the
world, ranking 16th on the chart on May 11th and charting on the Spotify
"Global 200" for a total of 7 days. The song first entered the chart
at 171st place on May 3rd and achieved a new record, the shortest "Global
Top 200" chart among all-girl group debut songs.
