Stray Kids' second mini-album
"CIRCUS," officially released in Japan on June 22nd, recorded 97,084
points and topped the Oricon daily album chart on June 21st.
The new album "CIRCUS"
includes the title song of the same name, new songs such as
"Fairytale" and "Your Eyes," as well as the album
"ODDINARY," which won the first place on the US Billboard's main
chart "Billboard 200." It contains a total of 6 tracks, including the
title song "MANIAC," the b-side song "Spider Web," and the
Japanese version of the song "Silent Cry" from the 2nd regular album
"NOEASY." The title song "CIRCUS" was written and composed
by 3RACHA, a producing team in the group consisting of Bang Chan, Changbin, and
Han, to enhance the musical appeal.
JYP Entertainment pre-released the
Japanese version of "MANIAC" on the 18th of last month before the
release of Stray Kids' new album in Japan and topped the Japanese Line Music
Real-Time Song Top 100 chart and Line Music K-pop chart the next morning. The
track "Your Eyes" also topped the Japanese Line Music Daily Song Top
100 chart on June 3rd after pre-release and topped the weekly Song Top 100
chart for five consecutive days until the 7th, signaling popularity.
