[The Fact ｜ Reporter Park Ji-Yoon ] Director Kim Hong-sun opens the new chapter in a crime thriller with Coupang Play.

Coupang Play announced on the 27th, "Director Hong-Sun Kim, who directed each work, will be in charge of producing the new original series 'The Chronicles of Riddick'." Meanwhile, director Kim Hong-sun is attracting attention thanks to his unique genre directing, after the dramas 'Voice', 'Black' and 'The Guest', followed by 'Money Heist' ": Common Economic Zone' by Netflix, will be released on the 24th.

'The Chronicles of Riddick', which unravels three events across three time zones, is a story that reveals the truth about an unrevealed past through a terrifying present event that is supposed to be born.

Director Kim Hong-sun said, "I wanted to create a crime thriller with a new composition and story style that cuts through the past and present through specific events ."

Coupang Play CEO Kim Seong-Han said, "The Chronicles of Riddick" will be a new and shocking drama that has never been seen on any other channel.

'The Chronicles of Riddick' is slated to begin filming in the second half of this year.
