On
the 5th, Wei Entertainment announced, We.I (Jang Dae-hyun, Kim Dong-han, Yoo
Yu-ha, Kim Yo-han, Kang Seok-hwa, Kim Jun-seo) will release their first album
Japanese language 'Youth' on August 11 and officially debut in Japan.
According
to the announcement through the official channel, We.I will officially debut in
Japan with the release of the mini-album 'Youth' on August 11. The album
includes Japanese versions of all the songs on Wei's previous albums, as well
as original songs only from their Japanese debut album.
The
first limited edition includes a special photobook, as well as a DVD containing
previously unpublished content such as behind-the-scenes footage and
interviews. Pre-orders for the debut album will start on the 13th through the
Broccoli Store online website.
A
debut anniversary event in Japan will also be held for four days from August
11-14, the day of the album's release. The group plans to spend a special time
with their fans by holding mini-lives and talk shows where you can meet We.I
members in one place. Details regarding this will be announced at 1:00 p.m. on
the 13th through Wei Japan's official website.
Wei
held their first overseas fan meeting/live solo 'WEi FIRST LOVE in JAPAN' in
Japan in April and met Japanese fans. This performance gained attention when
the server crashed along with an explosion in traffic due to advanced ticket
sales. Tickets for previous performances were also sold out at a rapid rate,
proving their popularity by attracting more than 6,000 spectators in just 3 days.
Thanks
to the warm support of Japanese fans, the group released their first mini-album
in Japan. Therefore, the public's attention is focused on the group's
unhesitating steps in the future.
The
new album 'Youth' by We.I, who will continue to work as a '4th generation youth
icon' in Japan as well as Korea, will be released on August 11.
