[The Fact ㅣ Reporter Kim Saetbyul] Group Card (KARD) has renewed its contract with
DSP Media.
On the 7th, management agency DSP
Media said, "We recently discussed future visionary activities with card
members: BM, J Sep, Jeon So-min, and Jeon Ji-woo.
The contract renewal between the two
parties is done by forming a consensus on what they want to express as an
individual and a collective based on mutual trust. In response, the agency
said, "We plan to fully support KARD so that we can carry out vigorous
activities at home and abroad in the future."
KARD is a group that released their
pre-debut song 'Oh NaNa' in 2016 and was on the global music charts even before
their official debut. In particular, the group attracted attention when
appearing in a new form of a mixed group in the K-pop market, which only
consisted of boy groups and girl groups.
With the release of their fifth
mini-album 'Re' in June, KARD has completed their comeback activities after merging
with RBW, as well as a complete comeback after one year and ten months after
being a member J.Seph was discharged from the army. The initial sales of this
album have increased five times compared to the previous album, proving that
the popularity and fandom is expanding daily.
After completing the contract
renewal, KARD is expected to resume their group schedule while touring Central
America, South America, and North America during the hiatus.
