Q. This is the first subgroup formed after 11 years since Apink's debut. What is the context of group formation?

Chorong - Since I debuted, I've always heard people say I look like Bomi. So I took a photo with the concept of 'Twilight'. So, a lot of people said, "If we both make a unit, it will be interesting". Earlier this year, after ending promotional activities for Delema, we actively promoted promotional activities.

Bomi - From the beginning of my debut, I was often called "twin-like," and when I was with her, I had a certain thought that I wanted to release an album with her voice and mine. Since the company had talked about the unit album before, it had to be released this time, so I gave my opinion and promoted it.

Q. How do you feel about releasing a unit album?

During the preparation, I had so much fun! I feel very grateful when I think, 'It's been 11 years since I had the opportunity to show a new image'.

Bo Mi: Although there is a bit of pressure because this is the first unit, I am very nervous thinking that will be a great gift for fans. Both are very stressful so I will try to enjoy them to the fullest! We prepared so much fun that we couldn't stop laughing while practicing. We want to quickly promote and have a meaningful start for the first unit.

Q. How do you want to show a different image from Apink's activities? What have you prepared?

Chorong - Because the number of members is less, Chorong and Bomi have no choice but to show more clearly their individual charms, perhaps this will be an opportunity for you to better show off your individual charms. Because the concept of the song is Twin, there are many times when we wear the same clothes. Although we are similar, but seeing Bom have a different charm little by little, I put all my heart into that part.

Bom: I think I can show you my concept image. In addition, I also participated in composing albums in more detail and depth.

Q. How do you guys introduce the single vol.1 Copycat - the group's debut album?

Cho Rong - The word "copycat" is originally used with the negative connotation of "imitation," but I love the origin of that word. It originates from the image of a kitten imitating an identical mother cat. It seemed to fit our twin concept so the song title to the album title was chosen as "Copycat." There are three songs including the title song and are composed songs that convey the diverse message of spring.

Bo Mi - Capicat means "We are one, like a friend like a family (Framily). This is an album that shows the charm of spring with the lovely and lovely 'Twin Teddy Bear' concept.

Q. What is the title track 'Copycat' like? The highlight and attraction of the song?

Chorong - Copycat is a song that humorously and openly expresses the mood of wanting to imitate everything about the person you love.

It's a dance song that's both free and weird. The chorus is easy to remember and sing along to as soon as you hear it for the first time, the rap part showing the fierce cat is also the highlight.

Q. Is there any killing part or highlight choreography in the new song "Copycat"?

Chorong - The basic hand movement is the 'cat hand shape'. There are a lot of cat movements such as showing cat ears with hands, cat digging movements, washing face movements, etc. The whole melody of the killing part is good but especially the repetitive part 'Lalalalala~' Hook's is very good. It's the humming part without the lyrics. So it gives a feeling of euphoria and freedom.

The chorus repeats over and over, so it's probably the most memorable part. The highlight choreography is a basic move in the shape of a cat's hand, so if you focus on the hand, all the moves are the highlight.

Q. What is the highlight of the MV?

Chorong - MV is a story about escaping the freedom of early spring, if you watch the stories inside, you will find it interesting.

Bo Mi: We were very focused on the story. The highlight is the image of twin dolls in early spring holding hands to find freedom and cute and fierce images. The last reversal is also an interesting point.

Q. During the preparation for this album, which part caught your attention the most?

Cho Rong - music. Performance is of course also important, but I think getting good songs is the most important, so being able to listen for a long time and comfortably, and getting to the stage is also important but just listen. I found a good song.

Bomi - This is the color of early spring. I want to focus on the twin doll concept. There are many meanings to it. Even though we have met different people, after 11 years together, we still have the same things. I've heard a lot of people say it's "sister-like" on the outside, and since real relationships are like family, I wanted to focus on expressing spring's color of "We're One".

Q. Can you explain the songs on the album?

Chorong - Oscar is a song containing the image of false love and a dream of revenge. So this song has a bolder style. I think 'Feel Something' is a song that gives strength to everyone. Be confident and move forward with what you believe in. If you listen to the lyrics, you will feel choked up.

Bomi - Oscar is a dance song that is both hip and feels like acting in a movie. I think this is the song that shows the strongest and most different on stage. 'Feel Something' is a pop song with the most moderate tempo. This is one of the songs I listen to the most while recording and practicing. It's like an essay that I want to show you.

Q. During the album preparation and MV filming, were there any memorable stories?

Cho Rong - This album has Bomi's participation in every step, so it's even more memorable. Despite being joined in many of Apink's albums, this early spring album shared everything with Bomi from song title to album concept, costumes, b-side track, and MV story. That process was really fun. And Bomi directly wrote the MV script for the director and summed it up with her whole body, that scene was really interesting and very impressive.

Bo Mi: I had a lot of first scenes. This is my first time riding the cable, but it was more fun than I thought so I regret ending it early. There is also a scene where Suga Glass breaks glass with a hammer. Although it's acting, it feels like a release of stress and it's a new experience.

Q. Express the charm and concept of this album in one word? What is the reason?

Chorong - 'Framily' is an album created from emotions and atmosphere where Bomi and I are close friends like family.

Bo Mi: Copycat is the album title as well as the title track, which best represents the concept of spring.

Q. We participated in the comeback in July, what are Apink's strengths and differences?

We will try to create fun and hard-working performances. I think that's also our strength, like everyone else.

Bomi - Twin doll concept. And to match that concept, our visuals are also amazing, right?

Q. How did the Apink members react to the unit debut? No other advice or support?

Cho Rong - Since our concept is a cold atmosphere, when filming the MV we wore colorful and lively outfits. The members who supported and cheered for us were surprised when they said that the sisters are wearing very cute clothes and working hard. But I'm very happy when you guys say the song is good.

Bomi - The youngest Hayoung and Namjoo came to the MV studio to cheer. Although Eunji is busy with dramas, she still watches the MV in the group chat room. Indeed, the members are very united.
