Byeong-geun] Girl group Aespa has shown strong global power with the second mini
album 'Girls'.
Aespa's mini-album vol.2 Girls has
climbed to No. 3 on Billboard's Billboard 200 chart (USA) released on April 19.
Espa also took 3rd place on the Artist 100 chart - which shows the influence
and popularity of artists in the US.
In addition, the album topped three
charts, including Top Current Album Sales and World Albums, including Top Album
Sales, which ranks the most popular albums of the week based on sales data. The
album also ranked 5th on the album chart by recording artists, 6th on the World
Digital Song Sales chart, 6th on the Hot Trend Songs Weekly Chart, and 42nd on
the Billboard Global 200. Besides, on the Billboard Global chart (excluding the
US), the new song "Girls" as well as the b-side songs
"Illusion" and "Life's Too Short" entered the chart.It
shows the public's warm interest in Espa.
Previously, Aespa achieved the
highest record for pre-orders of a K-pop girl group with the mini-album vol.2
Girls with 1.61 million copies. With first week album sales of 1,426,487 copies
(announced on Circle chart), the group won the title of the first million
copies sold of a K-pop girl group.
