KBS2's new Mon-Tue drama 'The Law cafe' (written by Im Lim-jeong, directed by Lee Eun-jin) has been confirmed to air first on August 29. Meanwhile, the script reading scene, where the main actors will lead the play, such as Lee Seung-gi, Lee Se-young, Kim Nam-hee, and Jo Han-cheol, was premiered.
The drama is based on the popular web novel of the same name, about Jung Ho Kim (Lee Seung-gi) - a former prosecutor, Hanryang 'God Mulju', and Kim Yu-ri (Lee Se-young), a tenant 4D lawyer.
First, Lee Seung-gi takes on the role of Kim Jung-ho, a former prosecutor known as a monster genius, and Kim Yu-ri and her 17-year acquaintance. Lee Seung-gi exudes a chameleon charm that transcends sharp reason and warm innocence when announcing the return of a melodrama master.
Lee Se-young takes on the role of Kim Yu-ri, a fourth-space lawyer who can't stand injustice with her outstanding beauty, and a tenant who opens a 'Cafe law' on the first floor of the building - Kim Jeong, their building. Lee Se-young, who proved her solid acting ability in the drama 'Red End of the Sleeve' last year, perfectly portrayed the character with her plump and lovable personality.
Kim Nam-hee, who has marked her presence with tvN's "Mr. Sunshine" and Netflix's 'Sweet Home', is Kim Jung-ho's cousin and psychiatrist Park Woo-jin.
Kim Seul-gi takes on the role of Han Se-yeon, the leader and police officer of Kim Jung-ho and Kim Yu-ri's best friend group 'Seoyeon High School Quadruple' and Oh Dong-min takes on the role of Do Jin-gi, an Italian restaurant chef in charge of nuns and comedian in 'Seoyeon High School Quartet.' The two couples in the play boasted extraordinary acting abilities.
In addition, Jo Han-cheol plays Lee Pyun-woong, CEO of Dohan Construction, Jeon Guk-hwan plays a representative of Dohan Group, Jeon No-min plays the father of Kim Jeong-ho and Kim Seung -woon, director of the Seoul Central District Prosecutors' Office, and Kim Won-hae as Hwang & Koo, a representative of Hwang's law firm, Hwang Young-hee as Song Ok-ja, Kim Yu-ri's mother and Jang Hye-jin as Kim Cheon-daek, the owner of Happy Super, raised expectations for this episode with their passionate performances that blend into each character perfectly.
