JYP Entertainment's girl group NiziU (hereinafter referred to as JYP) has taken the No. 1 spot on Japan's weekly charts with their third single album.

According to information published by Oricon on the official homepage on July 29, NiziU's single vol.3 CLAP CLAP released on July 20 won 150,000 points in the first week and rose to the top of the daily general singles chart. Oricon's latest week (2022.7.18~07.24). "NiziU" peaked at number four on the chart, behind the debut single "Step and a step" and the second single "Take a picture/Poppin' Shakin."
Previously, with this single, NiziU climbed to No. 1 on the Oricon daily chart on July 19 and held the No. 1 position for four consecutive days until July 22. The group will begin their first tour titled "NiziU Live with U 2022 Light Up" in August. The Arena Tour will be held in 7 cities in Japan, including Fukuoka (August 13 to 14th), Hokkaido (August 20 to 21), Miyagi (August 27 to 28), Tokyo (August 31 to September 3), Osaka (September 10 to 11), Nagoya (September 17 to 18), and Kobe (September 4 to 10). In particular, thanks to the enthusiastic support of fans, JYP added the first concert for Miyagi on August 28.
