'Hunt', the last of four hits in Korean cinema this summer has a good
commencement at the box office on its first day of release.
According to the cinema ticket
aggregator network of the Film Promotion Committee on the 11th, 'Hunt'
(directed by Jung-jae Lee) attracted about 210,000 spectators the day before
its premiere, beating Hansan: Appearance of the Dragon to take the first place.
'The Hunt' is a spy action film that
tells the story of Park Pyong Ho (Lee Jung-jae) and Kim Jeong-do (Jung
Woo-sung), who suspect each other of being spies of the organization in the
past few days in 1980. Lee Jung-jae took on the lead role for the first time in
23 years.
The movie "Hansan: The
Appearance of the Dragon" by Park Hae-il and Byun Yo-han attracted 125,000
spectators on the same day and took second place. However, as of today,
'Hansan: The Appearance of the Dragon' has surpassed 5 million viewers,
maintaining the number one position at the box office.
In third place was the 'Emergency
Declaration ', which mobilized only 56,000 spectators. It released on the 3rd
is attracting attention when starring famous actors such as Song Kang-ho, Lee
