director Je-gyun Yoon is preparing for the global project 'K-Pop: Lost in
America', Cha Eun-woo is a hot topic as an actor's main member.
On
the 29th, CJ ENM announced, “Director Jekyun Yoon is working on the script for
'K-Pop: Lost in America' (referred to as 'K-Pop') to film in the first half of
next year."
In
'K-Pop: Lost in America', a K-pop boy band who is about to make a splendid
global debut in Madison Square Garden, USA, board a plane to New York, but they
get lost in a region. In the unfamiliar countryside of Texas town, they struggle
to reach New York, the stage of their dreams. It is a film about the musical
path of youth that
tells the story.
In
particular, 'K-Pop' is known as a global project in which CJ ENM and famous
Hollywood producers collaborate. Director Yoon Je-gyun, who has directed 10
million films such as "Haeundae" and "International
Market", will lead, and CJ ENM and producer Linda Obstacle, who have
succeeded in global masterpieces like "Interstellar", will
co-produce.
In
the meantime, singer-actor Cha Eun-woo of the group ASTRO as the main actor is
being noticed. Cha Eun-woo, a former idol singer with acting skills and global
