On the 19th, her agency IOK announced, "Koo Hye-sun will participate in the 'Yangju Barrier-Free Film Festival' and act as a judge and public relations ambassador to judge the films."
Barrier-free is a living environment in which physical and psychological barriers are removed so that socially disadvantaged people, such as the disabled or elderly, can live comfortably.
Yangju Barrier-free Film Festival, organized by the Yangju Branch of the Federation of Korean Filmmakers, supported by the Gyeonggi Content Agency, the Gyeonggi Film Commission, and supported by Yangju City and The Yangju City Council, and the Yangju Association of Korea Federation of Arts and Cultural Organizations, have been promoting the spread of the barrier-free movement since 2020.
