[The Fact ㅣ Reporter Lee Han-rim ] Historical thriller 'The Owl' starring Hae Hae-jin and Ryu Jun-yeol has been confirmed to release in late November.

On the 4th, film company NEW confirmed the release date of 'The Owl' (directed by Tae-jin Ahn) and released the first two posters with contrasting lights and shadows.

'Owl' is a historical thriller about a blind acupuncturist who can only see at night, to uncover the truth after witnessing the death of the Crown Prince.

In the first two posters released on this day, Yoo Hae-jin stands in front of the candle and Ryu Jun-yeol in front of the extinguished candle, with a meaningful expression and looking straight ahead, attracting attention. The shadow on the two's faces raises expectations of a tense turn of events in the play, and the joint copy of 'Dead Crown Princess' raises questions about the secrets involved in the case judgment.

The roles played by Yoo Hae-jin and Ryu Jun-yeol, respectively, are also highly anticipated. First, Yoo Hae-jin will appear before the audience as King Injo, who is blind from insanity after the death of the Crown Prince. Attention is drawn to the image of the king of Joseon drawn by actor Hae Jin Ha, who is continuing his box office success with a unique character in each of his works such as 'Lucky,' 'Cooperation,' 'Taxi Driver,' '1987', 'Perfect Stranger' and 'Battle of Bongo-dong.'

Ryu Jun-yeol takes on the role of Kyung-su, a blind acupuncturist who wakes up to the truth after witnessing the Crown Prince's death. Ryu Jun-yeol has worked with Yoo Hae-jin twice in 'Taxi Driver' and 'Battle of Bongo-dong', but in this work, he is expected to undergo a drastic acting transition. as well as a chemical reaction with Yoo Hae-jin is a role in the opposite point.

Meanwhile, for 'Owl,' director Ahn Tae-jin, who was an assistant director for 'The King's Man,' took a speaker and raised expectations. In addition to Yoo Hae-jin and Ryu Jun-yeol, veterans and new actors add credibilities, such as Choi Moo-sung, Jo Seong-ha, Park Myung-hoon, Kim Seong-cheol, Ahn Eun-jin, and Jo Yoon-seo, it seems to add variety. The movie will hit theaters on November 23.
