[The Fact ㅣ Reporter Kim Saet-byul ] Kwon Ji-woo surprises viewers with his blockbuster statement in 'The Empire'.

Kwon Ji-woo will appear as Han Kang-baek, the son of Han Hye-ryul (Kim Seon-ah) and a law school student at Minkuk University in JTBC's recently aired Saturday drama ' The Empire: Empire of Law' (written by Oh Ga-gyu, directed by Yoo Hyun-ki, hereinafter referred to as 'The Empire').

In the meantime, Kwon Ji-woo drew attention when portraying Han Kang-baek, who revealed repressed emotions while living as a beopbok family in last week's episode.

On this day, Han Kang-baek introduced Hong Nan-hee (Joo Se-bin) to his girlfriend's family. However, he does not know that his father, Na Geun-woo (Ahn Jae-wook), has an affair with Hong Nan-hee and is very angry when his mother, Han Hye-ryul, opposes his marriage and criticizes Hong Nan-hee.

He also said that he didn't want to go to law school, but no one was curious about his dream, and he couldn't talk about it for fear of disappointing his family.

Kwon Ji-woo portrays the complicated emotions and inner anxiety of Han Kang-baek, a 4-year-old character in a beopbok family who is headed for ruin in the drama with many emotional performances difference. When Jang Ji-i (Lee Ga-eun) expressed her sadness for not accepting her feelings, she was friendly but never expressed her feelings and regreted not being able to accept her feelings.

The appearance of banging tables and shouting, confessing that he wanted to write literature rather than go to law school, left a strong impression on viewers when conveying Han Kang-baek's unpleasant feelings, expressing his emotions and anger in front of his family for the first time.

Kwon Ji-woo showing strong acting that has never been seen in previous works such as 'Health Teacher Eun-young Ahn,' 'Youth in May,' and 'Cleaning Up' through 'The Empire,' is gradually expanded its scale acting field with a different view.

'The Empire', the drama that adds interest to Kwon Ji-woo's unprecedented growth, is broadcast on Saturdays and Sundays at 10:30 pm.
