Wonho (former Monsta X member) will perform his defense obligations.

On The 15th, Hailine Entertainment's agency said, "We would like to announce Wonho's military service."

The agency said, "Wonho will begin his military service as a community service officer from 5/12."

Wonho then added, "During his alternative military service, Wonho will do his best to perform his defense service honestly. I hope everyone will support and pay warm attention to Wonho, who will return to a more mature and healthier image."

Wonho also sent greetings to fans through the official fancafe. He recalled the past few days: "Every day with WENEE, just thinking about that day is enough for us to see each other again."

Wonho debuted with Monsta X in 2015. After leaving the group in 2019, the group is active as solo singers.
