[The Fact/ Reporter Lee Seung Woo] RM (BTS) will release his first official solo album.
This album of the title song "Indigo" will be released at 2 o'clock (KST) on the 2nd, including a song that can see many stages, thinking "Indigo" is RM's new work after 4 years since the mixtape Mono. Released in October 2018. Through BTS' albums and individual works, the girls have not refined their honest stories. This time, in order to show a different trend and thinking, they chose a color that contrasts with the black and white atmosphere that was spread out in its entirety and wore it everywhere in the album.
RM has shown his emotions through various experiments, in addition to color. Previously, in the Indigo photo published through RM's SNS, jeans were piled up on the chair next to RM wearing jeans and a denim shirt. On the wall is the work, "Blue" by the late artist Yoon Hyung Geun which RM respects. The album is presented as an album that connects music and art, and the album title 'Indigo' is expressed in the same way.
In particular, in this album, RM led the entire album production process, from writing lyrics and composing all songs for Indigo to the concept, design, layout, and MV planning. It is worth noting that the collaboration "crosses boundaries" with various artists.
The title track is "With Jo Yoo Jin" starring Cherry Filter's Jo Yoo Jin. In addition, the song also contains songs such as Yun (with Erykah Badu), Still Life (with Anderson Park), All Day (with Tablo), Closer (with Paul Blanco, Mahalia), Change pt.2 and Ronely .
Talented producers like DOCSKIM, Pdogg, Honne, EAeon and John Eun helped RM make the songs. 8 out of 10 songs have the participation of Cherry Filter Jo Yoo Jin, Erica Badu, Anderson Pack, singer Tablo, British singer-songwriter Kim Sawol, British singer.
The management company Big Hit Music said, "After releasing the album "Indigo", RM is expected to continue to carry out various activities such as small-scale performances and MC for the entertainment show "Alloin Job" (tvN).
