Singer and actor Lee Seung Gi will donate 300 million won to KAIST (Korea Institute of Science and Technology).
On Day 1, according to the official homepage of the KAIST Development Foundation, Lee Seung Gi promised to donate to KAIST. Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (abbreviation: KAIST, English: Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology) is a leading and most prestigious scientific and technological research-oriented university in Korea as well as Asia and the world.
Lee Seung Gi donated a total of 2.85 billion won after the incident. On December 29 last year, he donated 12 billion won to Seoul National University Children's Hospital, and on January 2 this year, he also donated 13 million won to the Korean Red Cross.
Lee Seung Gi is at odds with his former agency Hook Entertainment, such as unresolved music revenue and advertising fees. He has accused director Kwon Jin Young and former CEO of Hook on charges of embezzlement and fraud.
