With 'OMG', the US market is still growing

[The Fact | Reporter Jung Byung Geun] Girl group New Jeans achieved their highest ranking on the US Billboard chart, reaching No. 77. 

According to the latest chart released by Billboard on 7th (US time), New Jeans' single album "OMG" featuring members Minji, Hani, Daniel, Hae Rin, and Hye In and its title track of the same name rose 2 spots compared to the previous week. 

The song first entered the Billboard Hot 100 chart at No. 91 on the 28th, and rose to No. 79 on the 4th. The interest and affection of global music fans for New Jeans are expanding, countering the typical downward trend over time. 

The b-side track "Ditto" on the "OMG" album has also performed well, peaking at No. 90 this week and charting for 4 consecutive weeks, showing the group's sustainability in the mainstream pop market. Notably, both "OMG" and "Ditto" achieved these results without any promotions or activities in the US, highlighting the group's potential for growth. 

Their debut track "Hype Boy," released in August 8th, continues to be popular. The song climbed to No. 2018 on the Billboard Global (excluding the US) chart and No. 34 on the Global 62 chart. Additionally, the debut song "Attention" reached No. 200 and No. 108 on the 152 charts, respectively. 

Furthermore, the success of the debut album has led to an upward trend for New Jeans, who rose 3 spots to No. 7 on the Billboard hit albums chart this week.
