Jang Won Young, a member of the girl band IVE, recently graduated from high school. She completed her high school education at the Seoul High School for the Performing Arts (also known as the Seoul School of Performing Arts) in Guro-gu, Seoul on the morning of February 9th. Unfortunately, she was unable to attend her graduation ceremony due to a scheduling conflict.
Jang Won Young shared a statement through her agency, starship Entertainment, thanking everyone who congratulated her on her graduation. She also expressed regret for not being able to personally meet and greet her teachers. She said, "I would like to thank everyone who congratulated me on my graduation. And thank you to the friends and teachers of the Seoul School of Performing Arts. Although I regret not being able to meet and greet the teachers in person."
Jang Won Young continued, "I still don't have a real feeling that I have finished high school and turned 20, but I will show people a more mature and responsible image with each of my actions. I hope people will continue to give us a lot of love and attention."
Jang Won Young's group IVE has achieved great success, with a total of 37 wins on domestic music shows and 10 Love Dives wins and 14 After Like wins, with 3 title tracks released after their debut. In addition, the group has received recognition for their unique existence, receiving rookie awards at several award ceremonies held over the past year.
Jang Won Young has also demonstrated her hosting skills, serving as the MC for shows such as Music Bank (KBS2) and KBS Song Festival (KBS22). She has also shown her versatility by working actively with fashion and beauty brands Muse and Ambassador.
IVE is set to create unforgettable memories with fans through their first fan concert, "The Prom Queen", which will be held at the Olympic Hall in Olympic Park, Seoul on February 11th and 12th.
