Seung-youn (WOODZ) will make his highly anticipated comeback after moving to
IU's agency, EDAM Entertainment. On February 22nd at 0:13 (Korean time), the
agency released Woodz's teaser photo on their official SNS channel, revealing
the title of the new song, "Abyss," and the release date.
Along
with the teaser photo, a meaningful message was revealed in a copy entitled 'A
Very Personal Story by Woodz', which reads "I will give you
everything," piquing the curiosity of fans about the new song.
This
new track will be Woodz's first release in 9 months, since the release of his
mini album, "Colorful Trauma," in May 5th of the previous year.
Woodz
made his debut with the group UNIQ in 2014 and later became active as a member
of the X1 group formed through the audition program "ProduceX101"
(Mnet) in 2019. As a solo artist, Woodz has released several albums and
contributed to the writing and composing of songs such as "Universe,"
"Blue," and "Waiting."
In
October 10th of the previous year, IU and actor Shin Se Kyung signed exclusive
contracts with EDAM Entertainment. With his previous successes as a
singer-songwriter and his charismatic presence, Woodz is expected to showcase
his musical abilities through his new album.
On
February 22nd at 6:00 p.m. (Korean time), Woodz will release his new song,
followed by the release of his fifth mini-album
