The legal team has stated that strong measures must be taken to combat the spread of fake news.

Park Ji-yoon's reporter, Kim Yuna, has been facing a lot of trouble due to fake news, and has now decided to take action against it. On February 16th, through an official statement, Kim Yuna's agency, All That Sports, announced, "Recently, unfounded fake news about Kim Yuna and her husband has been posted and circulated on social media. We will pursue all possible civil and criminal remedies against those who spread this news." 

Dong Hee, CEO of All That Sports, emphasized, "Recently, fake news related to Kim Yuna and her husband has been continuously posted and distributed. As Kim Yuna's agency, we will deal strictly with YouTubers and individuals who spread fake news." Several fake news stories have recently been circulating online, from claims that Yuna donated a luxury house to her husband's family to allegations that Ko Woo Rim's family owns a financial conglomerate. 

Ko Woo Rim said, "Fake news, in the name of free speech, is spreading like poisonous mushrooms, targeting not only sports stars but also artists. It's called freedom of speech, but it's not freedom; it's a crime and a social evil." 

Furthermore, she noted that if fake news continues to be mass-produced, not only celebrities but also ordinary people can become victims. This issue is something we all need to tackle together in order to eradicate fake news, and ultimately we need to prepare institutional measures that have a social impact. 

Kim Yuna married Ko Woo Rim in October of last year. The two first met on stage to celebrate the skating show "All That Skate" in 2010, and after 8 years of dating, they decided to get married.
