[The Fact | Reporter Park Ji-yoon] ADOR, in collaboration with the NewJeans group, has donated 200 million won for earthquake relief efforts in Turkey and Syria. On March 17, Ador announced that it had transferred the donations through the United Nations World Food Programme (WFP). The funds will be used to support people who have lost their homes and are facing food shortages due to earthquakes in Turkey and Syria.
Ador and NewJeans expressed their warm hearts, stating, "We decided to join in the support in the hope that it will bring some comfort and help to the people of Turkey and Syria who are suffering from the consequences of the earthquake."
Tim Hunter, Director of Private Partnerships and Fundraising at WFP Headquarters, said: "I am extremely grateful for the timely support from Ador CEO Min Hee-jin and NewJeans for those in need in Turkey and Syria."
More than 30,000 people were killed on the morning of March 13th due to a magnitude 7.8 earthquake that struck southeastern Turkey and northern Syria. The earthquake caused extensive damage, and the death toll has now reached 40,000.
