Boy group Stray Kids (Bangchan, Lee Know, Changbin, Hyunjin, Han, Felix, Seungmin, I.N) was selected as FannStar at The Fact Awards 2022.

On the afternoon of the 8th, Stray Kids received the FannStar Fourstar award at The Fact Music Awards held at KSPO Dome, Olympic Park, Seoul. The group received praise for their full-length album Vol.2 Noeasy, released in August, and was recognized as the highest-ranking group.

Stray Kids took to the stage to accept the award and said, "It's an honor to receive such a meaningful award on such a big stage." The group shared their feelings upon receiving the award: "We think it's thanks to our Stay. We will always strive to bring great stages and songs. We will not lose our original spirit and will remain humble as Stray Kids."

FannStar Fourstar is a newly established category at the 5th The Fact Music Awards this year. This award is given to representatives of 4th generation idols directly selected by fans.

FannStar is a weekly idol rating website run by The Fact, which conducts idol voting and supports electronic billboards. It is known as a playground for fandoms. Voting for individual singers and chart charts begins every Monday, and anyone who is a fan of idols can participate.

Stray Kids debuted on March 25 and is gaining strong love from fans around the world as they continuously bring passionate stages and music of their own making. In 2018, Stray Kids became JYP Entertainment's first million-selling artist with their full album Vol.2 NOEASY. With the mini-album Oddinary released in March this year, Stray Kids has consistently become a million-seller artist.

The new album title, MaXIDENT, is a combination of the English words 'Max(맥스)', 'Maximum(맥시멈)', 'Accident(액시던트)', and 'Incident(인시던트)', meaning 'a major event' that occurs without warning. All of the members showed their distinct individuality and sincerity by naming the 3RACHA production group - Bang Chan, Changbin, and Han - who created all of Stray Kids' title tracks.

The Fact Music Awards 2022 is a music awards ceremony created by K-POP artists and global fans under the slogan "SHINING FOR ARTIST, EXCITING FOR FANS".
