On May 8, TXT received the "Artist of the Year" award for this year's most active artist at The Fact Music Awards (TMA) ceremony held at Bangi-dong Olympic Stadium, Songpa-gu, Seoul.

TXT launched in 2019 has accompanied The Fact Music Awards every year. At TMA 2019, the group won the Next Leader award for the new artist who has shown the most active performance of the year. The group has matured step by step upon receiving TMA's Best Performer and TMA's Artist of the Year awards 2019.

This year, TXT has shown its unique presence both at home and abroad, and has become the hottest 4th generation boy group. Having sold more than 1 million copies with their mini album Vol.4 Minisodes 2: Thursday's Child released in May, the boy band has set a new record for the fewest among K-pop artists ever to become a million copies in the first week of the album's release.

In addition, the group also set a new record on the global charts with 13 consecutive weeks of the US Billboard 200 main album chart and accumulated 2 billion streams on the world's largest streaming platform Spotify. The group has worked closely with fans through a variety of stages, from private concerts to overseas tours and global music festivals.

First, Soobin said, "This year is the first year since its launch. I am very grateful and touched to meet the MOA (fandom) in person and organize the concert."

Hueningkai said: "When I was working on the title track Good Boy Gone Bad on the fourth mini album, it was a long time ago to hear the voices of the MOA friends," Hueningkai said. He grinned and said "That moment was the most memorable".

In addition, Beomgyu said, "I miss being on stage with the members on the final schedule of the U.S. tour called Lolapalouza." He said: "We have performed in front of so many people and this will be a valuable experience that we will never forget in the future."

After hearing this, Yeonjun also shared, "I remember every moment I went on a foreign tour. I've gained a lot of great experience standing on the big stage," Taehyun said, "The tour was really fun." He added that "Lolapaloza" and "Summer Sonic" are also interesting.
