'The Glory' has been back with season 2. Let revise the noticeable highlights of season 1 which would help to rise viewers expectation.
The Glory season 2 will be released on March 10th, 2023 (series writer Kim Eun-sook under the direction of Ahn Gil-ho) according to Netflix - subscription-based streaming platform.
The movie centers around a woman, called Moon Dong-eun, a victim of brutal high school violence. Later on, she came back to seek for revenge with careful preparation. Then the story of her revenge began. This time, the reunion of Song Hye Kyo and Kim Eun Sook has drawn a lot of attention.
The Glory season 1, released on 30th December 2022, has reached top 10 charts in 3 weeks constantly with 148 million hours of views in total. Besides, in the third week, it topped the charts in 8 countries, including Korean and top 10 in 34 countries. This has shown the popularity of the movie series.
Before the coming of season 2, people have given out a lot of explanation and theories. Based on the heat of the movie series, Netflix had released the trailer of season 2 on 28th March.
◆ The disappearance of Son Myeong-oh and conflict in the group of school bullies
In season 1, the viewers witnessed the disappearance of Son Myung-oh (starred by Kim Gun Woo) and the conflict among bullies. Then Moon Dong-eun (starred by Song Hye Kyo) approached and used Myung-oh, who had been isolated from the other, to revenge against all other bullies.
What has happened to Myeong-oh, who has a special bond with Dong-eun and the bullies? Who was with him on the day that he went missing?
◆ Ha Do-young's choice
Ha Do-young (starred by Jung Seong-il) found out that Dong-eun intentionally approached him. In season 1, he was described as a kind man with complicated character who always tried to solve everything with his power and social status. So, things started to be absorbed when he learned that Dong-eun took advantage of him for her revenge.
Viewers wonder whether Doyoung will became the ace in Dong-eun's plan or not. Will he give up his last rope of reason that he holds on to?

Season 2 is predicted focusing on character Joo Yeo-jeong (starred by Lee Do-hyun) who decided to help Dong-eun in her revenge. Many theories have given when he met Yeonjin in his Plastic Surgery Clinic in the trailer.
Besides, the revenge journey of the father killer will also be portrayed in season 2. On the other hand, how Kang Hyeon Nam, the victim of domestic violence, face her husband. Will the glory and peace will come to these three characters when they choose such a rough road?
