[The Fact|Reporter Park Ji-yoon] 'The Thief' Joo-won captivates viewers with his strong acting and double roles.
tvN's new Wed-Thu drama '“Stealer: The Treasure Keeper”' (Writer Shin Gyeong-il, Director Choi Jun-bae) is a cultural property thief. Skunk (starred by Joo Won), is wrapped in a veil, and Karma, an informal cultural asset recovery group, unite to fight those who cannot be judged by the law. This is an action- comedy movie.
Joo-won leads the play by playing the dual roles of Hwang Dae-myung, a civil servant at the Cultural Heritage Administration, and Skunk, a mysterious thief specializing in cultural property. Among them, the first teaser released on the 8th drew attention when Skunk hid in the curtain.
The video released on this day begins with the appearance of an unidentified person wearing a special suit in the dark of night. Standing sternly wearing a black mask, he was the world's most suspicious thief, Skunk.
All the police know about Skunk is that he steals the country's cultural property illegally. The reason why he continues to steal while hiding his identity remains a question mark, provoking curiosity.
Then, Skunk intended to punish those who were targeting the cultural property, and drew admiration. He attracts attention by using any means and methods to steal cultural property illegally, such as freely holding a rope and using his whole body to smash the window.
On the other hand, it contains the moment of crisis when Skunk's identity is discovered, suggesting that his undercover operation won’t sometimes go smoothly. In addition, at the end of the trailer, Skunk takes off his mask to reveal his true face and says, "Let's start" attracting attention.
Joo-won, completely immersed in the role of Skunk, makes everyone more curious about the kind of action he will carry out in a world where looters of cultural property are rampant.
'Stealer: Seven Chosun Reports' will be broadcast for the first time at 10:30 pm on April 12.
