[The FactㅣReporter Lee Han-lim ] Busan International Film Festival has confirmed the official schedule and started preparing.
According to the Busan International Film Festival Organizing Committee on the 15th, the 28th Busan International Film Festival will be held at the Busan Cinema Center for 10 days from October 4 to13.
The selection of official submissions for the 28th Busan International Film Festival is divided into two categories: short and feature, targeting feature films, documentaries and animations produced since October 2018. Short films and feature films are classified based on their length of less than 60 minutes or more. However, in the categories of Korean Wide-angle Shorts Competition and Asian Shorts Competition, only works with a running duration of 30 minutes or less will be selected.
Entries can only be submitted online on the Busan International Film Festival's official website. The deadline for short entries is June 21 at 6 p.m. and the deadline for feature films is July 19 at 6 p.m.
Meanwhile, the Busan International Film Festival has collected themes by opening a live offline session for the first time in three years since the Covid-19 pandemic last year. This year too, it is expected to meet the audience with a variety of works and events, the works selected for official submissions can be viewed during the Busan International Film Festival.
