Jimin (BTS) has written a new history for the Kpop industry.
On April 3, Jimin took 1st place with the title song "Like Crazy" in his first solo album "FACE" on the latest Hot 100 chart announced by Billboard.
Accordingly, Jimin became the first K-pop solo artist to win No.1 Hot 100. The previous highest record was Psy, who took 2nd place for 7 weeks of 'Style Gangnam' in 2012.
Notably, through this album, Jimin rose to No.2 on the US Billboard 200 chart, and at the same time reached No.1 on the Hot 100 chart. The song announced in advance for his first solo album Set Me Free Part.2 released on the 17th has risen to No.30 on the Hot 100 chart (April 1st).
On the other hand, Jimin's song "Like Crazy" recorded sales of 254,000 copies on Billboard from March 24 to 30. In addition, the song also proved its popularity when reaching more than 10 million streams and 64,000 audiences.
