On the 13th (KST), Cannes International Film Festival announced the official invitation to Jennie to attend the 76th Cannes International Film Festival through the film 'The Idol' along with 'Indiana Jones and the dial of destiny'; 'Killers of the flower Moon’ and ‘Cobweb’ in the ‘out of competitive’ category.
'The Idol' is a work that sheds light on the entertainment and music fields of famous pop idol stars. Pop singer The Weeknd co-produced and Sam Levinson of the hit HBO series 'Euphoria' directed and directed the film, which garnered attention.
In particular, "The Idol" is attracting attention with the appearance of top stars such as Jenny, Lily-Rose Depp, the daughter of Hollywood star Johnny Depp, Susanna Son, Able Tespay, and Troye Sivan.
