[The FactㅣReporter Kim Saet-byeol] 'The Good Bad Mother' Ra Mi-ran and Lee Do-hyun received a blossoming miracle in tragedy.
In episode 7 of JTBC's Wed-Thursday drama, 'The Good Bad Mother' (scriptwriter Bae Se-young, director Shim Na-yeon), aired on the 17th, the character Yeong is depicted. -soon (Ra Mi-ran) is preparing for Kang-ho (Lee Do-hyun) to live independently.
Like a mother pig seeing off her baby after 25 nights, Youngsoon, after being diagnosed with cancer, accepted the fact that one day she too would have to part with her baby Kangho. However, Yeong-soon, who is pessimistic about life, hangs himself, and the sight of Kang-ho standing up on his own two feet and saving her, makes a strong impression.
Youngsoon, who was diagnosed with stage 4 stomach cancer, is in a state of inoperability and treatment. Too late for treatment. However, it is not possible to just be sad, disappointed and depressed like this. Youngsoon made up his mind and taught his son Kangho how to live alone. From the daily things that Young Soon is doing for Kang Ho to the management of the pig farm she has protected until now, she has both taught and comforted: "Think of each and every thing and learn everything one by one".
Youngsoon's fate is really strange. Her parents and husband died one after another, her son survived the accident, and she herself had only a few days to live from cancer, but her misfortune was not over. Trotback (Baek Hyun-jin)'s protests weren't enough, and worse yet, the pig farm was shut down overnight. At this point, Youngsoon broke down as if she had lost everything, and the villagers of Jouri with her guilt couldn't even comfort her with a single word.
Mi-joo (played by Ahn Eun-jin), who opened a nail salon at an agricultural pharmacy in town, also saw the news about Young-soon and accidentally remembered the moment Yeong -soon buys pesticides. It's not surprising that when she visited Hae-shik's grave with Kang-ho, she had insecticide in her hand. All Youngsoon was left with was despair, but unexpectedly, Kangho reminded her of the pig 'Lion' at home and comforted him with hope: "Lion grows up and gives birth, and when they give birth again, you can start the farm again." Fortunately, before those words, Youngsoon gave up on his extreme thoughts.
However, Youngsoon was definitely different from before. First, she gave gifts to Mrs. Park (Lee Sook Seo) and Mrs. Jeong (Mal Geum Kang) as a thank you, then met a lawyer to arrange property for Kang Ho. On top of that, when Kang-ho and Sam-sik (played by Yoo In-soo) go to the public bath, Young-soon takes him and applies to the rehabilitation facility. Kang-ho, who was suddenly informed that he had to live without his mother in a strange place, hugged his mother and cried like a baby. Youngsoon left Kang-ho and returned home alone. she is preparing to die alone. After cleaning and decorating the house, Youngsoon left two letters. But in the meantime, Kang-ho was also out of the rehabilitation center. When he heard the question "Is it okay for me to go alone?" He had a strange feeling from his mother, Kang-ho rolling the wheel over and over in the direction the map indicated. After running for a long time, Kang-ho's fingernails were covered in blood, and when he reached the village, it was raining. The moment Yeongsun was about to hang herself, Kang-ho found her and held her. He then got up from his wheelchair and stood on his own two feet, marking a magical ending.
The scene where Youngsoon was about to break up with Kangho brought tears to viewers. Kang-ho stands proudly in front of Young-soon, who is about to leave after finishing everything. Attention is focused on how a new life will open up for both of them.
That day, the viewership rate reached 7.5% nationwide (Nielsen Korea standard, fee-paying households).
