'MY WORLD' sets self-record with 2.01 million copies sold

[The Facts | Reporter Jung Byeong-geun] Girl group Aespa has become a 2 million-selling group with new mini-album 'MY WORLD'.
Espa became a double million seller selling 2,011,388 copies (as of May 21st) in two weeks with the third mini-album 'MY WORLD' released on May 8th. Also ,the group is still continuing to advance in their career by breaking their own record once again.
This is the first time since its debut that Espa has sold more than 2 million copies for an album. The second mini-album 'Girls', released last July, recorded cumulative sales of about 1.42 million copies that year.
This album 'MY WORLD' started with the highest number of pre-orders (1.8 million copies), first sales by a K-pop girl group on its first day of release (1,372,929 copies), and is the first K-pop girl group in Initial Chodong's history (Recorded 1,698,784 copies based on Hanteo Chart). And has recorded double million of sellers and done its job well.
In addition, Aespa climbed to the top of major music charts at home and abroad with the title track 'Spicy', followed by Mnet 'M Countdown' on the 18th, KBS2 'Music Bank' on the 19th, MBC 'Show on the 20th! Music Core' and SBS' 'Inkigayo' on the 21st.
Aespa attended the red carpet of the 76th Cannes International Film Festival as the official ambassador of Chopard, the official partner of the Cannes International Film Festival.
