[The FactㅣReporter Munhwayoung] 2PM's Nichkhun is heading to Hollywood.
Nichkhun's agency, JYP Entertainment, announced on the 5th that 2PM Nichkhun's Hollywood debut film 'The Modelizer' will be released in North America on July 14.
'The Modelizer' is a romantic comedy set in Hong Kong that tells the story of a wealthy Hong Kong young man who meets a model with opposite values and finds true love. Director Kioni Waxman holds a loudspeaker and actor Byron Mann, who has appeared in Netflix's 'The Big Short' and 'Altered Carbon', is in charge of producing, writing and starring.
Nichkhun takes on the role of Bucky, Sean's best friend (played by Byron Mann). Bucky is a member of a wealthy Thai-Chinese family and has a sociable, party-loving personality, as well as an attractive and polite appearance. While he and Sean are apart for a while, Bucky does his best to preserve their relationship and in the process, he realizes the value of friendship.
In the official trailer video released before the premiere, Nichkhun showed off his friendly voice and eyes while enjoying the party.
The movie "The Modelizer" is a new work that Nichkhun will release in 2023 after the Thai movie "Cracked" and the TV series "Finding the Rainbow" in 2022. Nichkhun left a strong impression with the role of Tim in "Cracked" and solidified. his starring role in Finding the Rainbow as Wilson, a promising businessman in real estate.
