On July 19, the production team of the new Mon-Tue drama 'Sun Jae Up' (tvN) (played by Lee Si Eun, director Kim Tae Yeop) announced the casting of Byun Woo Suk and Kim Hye Yoon.
The work is a time fantasy romance drama about a top star who unfortunately ended his life and the woman who went to the past to save him. Based on the web novel The Best of Tomorrow by author Kim Bbang, the drama 'Sun Jae Up' heralds a new breeze in tvN's history of fantasy romance dramas.
Byun Woo Suk has taken on the role of Ryu Sun Jae - Korea's top star, who is perfect in terms of appearance, strength and charisma and the one Im Sol has to save in the movie. Ryu Sun Jae never left the top position since his debut, but life in the artist world made him tired and he eventually passed away. Then, when Im Sol appears in the brilliant youth of his youth, Ryu Seon Jae's life begins to change.
Kim Hye Yoon is known for playing Im Sol, an avid fan who travels back in time to save her favorite top star Ryu Sun Jae.
