[The Fact|Reporter Park Ji-yoon] ‘Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga’ will release theaters in May.
Distributor Warner Bros. Korea announced on the 18th, "The movie 'Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga' (directed by George Miller) has confirmed its release on May 22nd."
The work is a prequel to 'Mad Max: Fury Road' (2015), and is a huge journey in which Furiosa (played by Anya Taylor-Joy), who was cruelly thrown into a devastated world 45 years after the collapse of civilization, risks her entire life to return to her hometown. It is an action blockbuster.
Director George Miller, who previously took charge of 'Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga', visited Korea for two days on the 14th and 15th and spent meaningful time with domestic media and fans.
In addition, at this event in Korea, a preview of footage was held to give a glimpse into the atmosphere and completeness of the work, and the domestic media and audiences in attendance left favorable reviews, attracting attention.
