Begins military service for the second time after Kim Jin-hwan

“No special events on the day of enlistment”

[The FactㅣReporter Kim Saet-byeol] Jung Chan-woo of iKON is enlisting in the military.

Chanwoo Jung will enter the training center on the morning of the 27th. Previously, his agency 143 Entertainment announced the news of Chan-Woo Jung's enlistment through iKON's official channel and said, "We ask for your support and encouragement until the day Chan-Woo Jung returns after faithfully completing his military service."

There will be no separate official events held on this day. The agency said, "We ask for your understanding that admission will be held privately to prevent safety accidents due to crowding at the site."

As a result, Chanwoo Jung became the second member of the team to serve in the military. Previously, in July of last year, iKON's eldest brother Kim Jinhwan was the first to enlist. Bobby will enter the training center on June 4th.

Before his debut as a singer, Chan-Woo Jung began his entertainment career as a child actor. He has appeared in ‘Boys Over Flowers’, ‘King Sejong’, and ‘The Heirs’. Afterwards, Chan-Woo Jung debuted as a member of iKON in 2015 through YG's trainee survival show 'MIX & MATCH'.

Last April, he released his first solo single 'YOU'. He also communicates with his fans through the YouTube channel 'Chanwoosari'.
